Project - Terrestrial & Intranet Systems

Job progress systems have been implemented which have negated the requirement for additional staff and/or provided for accurate reporting and "calls to action".

Perhaps more importantly automatic and accurate job/service pricing has eliminated the human error associated with pricing hundreds of jobs per day.

In the case of the NHS system it is no longer possible to "lose" a patient and theatres have a readily available list of forthcoming operations which is available to the Consultants and management alike.

This is expected to reduce "double booked" operations and enable In-patient doctors to allocate patients to Consultants electronically, based on the current workload.

The overall intention was to meet the timetables laid down by the government and optimise staff utilisation.

NHS - In Patients system

Automatic In patient import system from two legacy booking-in systems (Chase Farm & Barnet)
Updating facilities for all subsequent departments, including Consultants, Wards, Theatres and Hospital Management. This solution was used to drive their "Dashboard" system of targeted appointments
All data was extracted from an Oracle intermediate data store and updated into a SQL database.

Booking in of all enquiries, quotations and orders
Databases for all plant, safety equipment, employees, medical examinations and system users.
Extensive reporting systems for all data tables with comprehensive "call to action" and performance reports
Stock control and monitoring system

Waste Management (Auto pricing)

Booking in of all enquiries and orders
Automatic pricing system with manual override.
Recording of all waste streams by Eurocode with percentages recycled or sent to Land Fill together with the tonnages involved
Databases for all drivers, vehicles, customers and sites.
Automatic monthly invoicing system
Automatic exports to Sage Accounting system
Automatic jobs faxing system
Post code database for site location and demographic marketing

Parcel Delivery (Auto pricing & EDI)

Automatic daily importing of deliveries from the hub
Auto pricing system for all packages and pallets
Databases for all Customers, Account terms and Postcode areas.
Automatic weekly and monthly invoicing system
Automatic exports to factor by EDI
